What will ultimately determine your success with exercise is your ability to persevere. Conrad Hilton once said, "Success seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep moving. They will make mistakes, but they don't quit." This couldn't be closer to the truth when speaking of exercise. You have to keep moving and not give up.

There is no doubt in my mind there will be times when progress comes to a halt. Or a situation comes up in your life resulting in an abandonment of your exercise program for a period of time. There is also the chance of getting injured or sick, making exercise almost impossible for a while.

Although many of us want to believe that we are immune to these occurrences, that's not reality. You have to expect and plan for them. The only way to overcome these unexpected occurrences is to persevere through them.

I can't begin to tell you how important it is to persevere. This is what separates success from failure. Without perseverance you will have a very difficult time accomplishing your goals.

With that said, let's take a look at four ideas to help you persevere and be successful with making exercise a part of your life.
