I'm sure you've heard this quote, "If you fail to plan, you're planning to fail." It has lots of truth to it. Just think of an average day at work. You go to work, sit down at your desk and look at all the papers, memos and other distracting information all strewn about. You sit there for a half hour looking things over, rearranging the piles and wasting time just trying to get things organized. Is this a familiar scene? I know I am guilty of it on occasion. This is where good planning and organization comes in handy. Taking the time to think and plan is time well spent. You will eliminate the wasted time because you know in advance what you need to do. This allows you to immediately start on what is important.
