Kids are some of the most active creatures on the planet! My three-year-old keeps me going from the minute I get home from work until bedtime. He is a bundle of energy.

For those of you who have young kids, you know what I'm talking about. Kids and physical activity are synonymous. Get out there and play catch or tag, go biking, take hikes through the woods or splash around in the water with them. The things you can do are endless. If you are at a loss for things to do, just ask your kids. They will find something to do.

Even if your kids are older and past the "playing" stage, get together with them and go for a walk or bike ride. Maybe you can participate in a recreational sport together or a hobby that requires physical activity. Not only are you more active, but you're also spending some great quality time with those who mean the most in your life.
