How Do You Spend Your Free Time?

PREVIOUS NEXT

Now, you are probably thinking all those hours aren't "free time." There are many things that fill the hours between work and sleep. Things like eating, taking care of the kids, errands, working around the house, paying bills, organizational meetings, entertainment, and many others. They all take time, making your "free time" hours dwindle quite rapidly.

You need to look at what is reducing your free time and determine if it is a priority or not. If you say you don't have time for something, it's probably not that you don't have time, it's that you don't make it a priority. We all find time for the things we want to do.

An effective exercise program will take you only three hours a week provided it's done correctly. This represents only 4.4% of the time you have available each week if your sleep and work schedule is similar to mine. That's it! Just think of the benefits you can receive by using less than 5% of your time on a worthy cause. Fitness magazines and health sections of the newspaper are overflowing with reasons why you should exercise. So, what are you waiting for? Make exercise a priority.
